These are Olympic spec gymnastics rings and are perfect for Calisthenics or CrossFit training. They are made of solid birch with a grip diameter of 28mm, with a 180mm inside diameter.

Grip diameters are available in 28mm and 32mm. 28mm is the Olympic spec however some gyms offer a mix of 28mm and 32mm. Some say the 32mm is easier to grip, but in our experience there is no difference in difficulty and you simply get used to whichever rings you use.
Strap width ranges from thin cords used in an Olympic setup to massive 1.5 inch straps. The reality is all these straps far exceed any possible load bearing of any user. Strap thickness does have a minimal difference with stability but you learn stability in the initial days and weeks of use which makes strap width irrelevant. What is important is the load bearing of any carabiner used in the setup because this will be the weakest point in the system.

Where to hang your rings
Choose a place that meets the space requirements above then have them installed by a good handyman to ensure they are correctly secured to wall studs or ceiling joists. Also check if your local park has a pull up bar with enough hight. A frame is also an option if you happen to have a backyard. A backyard frame is coming soon here at BP!
